About me

I’ve loved photography for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I had an old-school video camera and was always documenting family life, which led me to study Photography at college. I went on to become a nurse, and photography took a bit of a back seat until I had my son. I thought he was the most perfect little human and couldn’t stop taking photos of him.

Then came my daughter, and a reminder of just how quickly these little years fly by. I realised how important it is to have proper photographs to look back on, rather than hundreds sitting on our phones. Having worked with new parents and babies for years as a nurse, and experiencing motherhood myself, it felt like the perfect combination. So here I am, photographing other families!

I feel so lucky to be invited into your homes and capture a little slice of family life. My approach is relaxed and documentary-led. Baby needs a feed? Feed them. Toddler running wild? Let them run. There’s no pressure to pose or have everything looking perfect. Just you, your family, and all the little bits of life that make it yours.
